Anejo tequila is matured for a minimun of twelve months in vintage american oak whisky barrels. This process of maturng was born some three hundred years ago. The maturing process adds the flavor of the barrels to the tequila wich may vary from time to time based on its maturation period.
Gran Patron Budeos is matured in a combination of barrels specially prepared to the company’s specification of american mountain oak and french oaks from the different regions of france. The tequilas are aged for various periods oftime with a minimun of twelve months at the company’s seventh c entury french colonial hacienda in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
